Jan 14, 2011· So are both coolant temp sensor and thermostat going bad or are they essentially the same part? And could these parts have an effect on gas mileage, I''ve seen a 23 mpg decrease. That could also be due to my old spark plugs though. Gotta get that replaced this weekend. thanks in advance
